Strategies
To achieve our goals, we work in partnership with the Eastern Tropical Pacific Marine Corridor (CMAR), governments, NGOs and other allies to implement regional strategies and identify the most important investments to improve conservation actions and sustainable use in the ETP. Currently, these strategies are:
- Promote sustainable management of transboundary marine corridors & swimways.
- Collaborate in effective management of marine protected areas at the regional level.
- Promote blue economy initiatives that increase the sustainability and benefits generated by the fishing and tourism industries.
- Support strengthening of regional capacities in maritime transparency, control and surveillance.
